Intelligence Layer

Emotional Intelligence

How you feel shapes what you know.

Built on the Dispenza framework for understanding how emotions anchor knowledge. NeuralSnap tracks emotional context across your memories and snapshots, revealing patterns in how you think and what drives your decisions.

Four layers of emotional intelligence

NeuralSnap implements a progressive emotional intelligence framework, from basic tagging to deep identity coherence. Each layer builds on the previous one.

L2 — Emotional Tagging

Every memory carries valence (-1 to +1), intensity (0-1), and source emotion. Your knowledge isn't flat — it's emotionally textured.

L3 — Belief Patterns

Detect recurring emotional patterns across conversations and decisions. Surface beliefs you didn't know you held.

L4 — Perspective Synthesis

See how your emotional state influences what you believe. Compare insights made in clarity vs frustration.

L5 — Identity Coherence

Track how your beliefs evolve over time. Identify contradictions between what you say and what you do.

Emotional metadata on every memory

When you store a memory or process a conversation, NeuralSnap captures the emotional context automatically. Three dimensions of emotion give your knowledge depth that keyword search can't touch.

  • source_emotion: The dominant feeling (clarity, frustration, surprise, excitement, determination)
  • emotional_valence: Positive (+1) to negative (-1) — was this a good moment or a bad one?
  • emotional_intensity: How strong was the feeling? 0.2 is mild, 0.9 is overwhelming.
  • Automatically detected during conversation processing
  • Manually settable for direct memory creation

Belief pattern detection

As your brain grows, NeuralSnap identifies recurring themes and emotional patterns across your knowledge. Which topics trigger frustration? Where does your confidence cluster? What beliefs keep showing up?

  • Emotional clustering: Group memories and snapshots by emotional signature
  • Confidence trends: Track how your certainty evolves over time
  • Contradiction detection: Surface beliefs that conflict with each other
  • Decision patterns: See if your best decisions share emotional characteristics

From data to self-awareness

The goal isn't to track emotions for their own sake. It's to give you — or your AI agent — a richer understanding of knowledge quality. A belief formed in clarity is different from one formed in panic. NeuralSnap makes that distinction visible.

Use Cases

Decision Audit

Review decisions made in different emotional states. Were your best calls made in clarity or urgency? The data tells the truth.

Belief Discovery

Surface beliefs you didn't know you held. Pattern detection across conversations reveals recurring themes and biases.

Growth Tracking

Track how your confidence and emotional patterns evolve over months. See your intellectual growth in data.
